Policies & Disclosures
Who I Am & How I Work.
Braig & Co. is a travel advisory service operated by Braig & Co., LLC and solely owned by Caleena Braig.
I am an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc., a registered Seller of Travel. This means I plan and coordinate travel on your behalf through trusted global partners while operating under Fora’s licensing, booking systems, and supplier relationships.
While I curate and manage your travel experience, all reservations and travel services are ultimately fulfilled by third-party travel suppliers, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, transportation providers, and other travel vendors.
Independent Contractor Status.
Braig & Co. is an independent business and is not owned, managed, or controlled by any hotel, airline, resort, cruise line, or other travel supplier.
I am not an employee, agent, or representative of the travel providers I recommend. Although I maintain relationships with preferred partners and suppliers, all travel products and services are provided directly by those third parties.
Commissions & Compensation.
Braig & Co. may receive commissions, incentives, or other compensation from hotels, travel providers, tourism boards, and industry partners when bookings are made through my services.
In most cases, this does not increase the cost of your travel.
Occasionally, I may also receive industry benefits such as hosted stays, upgrades, amenities, or discounted experiences. These relationships help me better evaluate and recommend travel experiences for clients.
If a separate planning, design, or consultation fee applies to your trip, it will always be clearly disclosed in advance.
Planning & Service Fees.
Certain custom itineraries or more complex travel arrangements may require a non-refundable planning or service fee.
These fees may cover:
Destination research and travel curation
Custom itinerary design and revisions
Supplier coordination and booking logistics
Dining, touring, and experience recommendations
Ongoing support before and during travel
Payment of a planning or service fee confirms your agreement to move forward with advisory services.
Role as a Travel Advisor.
Braig & Co. acts solely as an intermediary and agent for travel suppliers.
Accordingly:
I do not own, manage, or operate hotels, airlines, tour companies, cruise lines, or other travel providers.
I do not control supplier staffing, operations, pricing, availability, schedules, or policies.
All reservations are subject to the terms, conditions, and policies of the applicable travel supplier.
Client Responsibilities.
Clients are responsible for reviewing all travel documents, confirmations, itineraries, and invoices upon receipt and for notifying Braig & Co. promptly of any errors or discrepancies.
Clients are also responsible for:
Ensuring traveler names match government-issued identification exactly
Obtaining valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and required travel documentation
Complying with destination entry requirements and local laws
Arriving on time for flights, transfers, tours, and other scheduled services
Braig & Co. is not responsible for costs, losses, or disruptions resulting from inaccurate traveler information, incomplete documentation, or failure to meet travel requirements.
Travel Insurance.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips.
Coverage may help protect against certain unforeseen events, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, lost baggage, and supplier defaults. Braig & Co. is not an insurance provider and does not guarantee coverage for any specific circumstance.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and selecting appropriate coverage based on their individual travel needs.
Declining travel insurance constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the potential financial risks associated with travel.
Payments & Authorization.
By submitting payment information for travel bookings, clients represent and warrant that they are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for legitimate travel-related charges authorized as part of the booking process. Any billing concerns should first be addressed directly with Braig & Co.
Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements.
Clients are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, vaccination records, and any other required travel documentation.
Many destinations require passports to remain valid for at least six months beyond travel dates. Entry requirements may change at any time without notice.
Braig & Co. is not responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, missed travel, or associated costs resulting from incomplete or invalid documentation.
Supplier Terms & Conditions.
Airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other travel suppliers maintain their own terms, conditions, cancellation policies, and rules.
By booking travel through Braig & Co., clients agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of each applicable supplier.
Limitation of Liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Braig & Co. and Caleena Braig are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, additional expense, or disruption arising from acts or omissions of third-party travel suppliers.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Supplier errors, omissions, or operational changes
